Invest in Bergen to attend NASF 2021
Due to the current global pandemic, this year’s forum will be held as an online event. With over 160 speakers expected to present, this year’s forum intends to set new standards for virtual conferences within the global seafood community, while also providing industry leaders with a platform to share valuable insights on a wide variety of seafood business-related subjects.
“We are really looking forward to joining the 16th North Atlantic Seafood Forum online this year. It will be different than meeting people physically in Bergen, Norway, but the digital event is gathering a lot more people, which is interesting,” said Tone Hartvedt, Director of Investment for Invest in Bergen.

Top-tier Names to Attend
This year’s event has garnered a significant amount of notice. This has been largely due to the list of distinguished attendees, which includes Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, Dongwon Industries CEO Mr. Lee Myung-Woo, and Deputy Director of The Gate Foundation Dr. Thevasagayam.
Speaking on this year’s event, André Akse, CEO for the North Atlantic Seafood Forum said, “We have great industry captains and policymakers on the podium,”. He also added that this year’s keynote speaker would be Helene Ziv-Douki, the newly appointed president of Cargill's Aqua Nutrition initiative.
Through this digital format, the NASF 2021 meeting place will allow delegates and attendees to effectively network and confer on a range of relevant themes.
