You meet:
Jan Opedal will be sharing his thoughts on why Odfjell chose suction sails for new vessel. Opedal recently led the first suction sail installation on board Odfjell's chemical tanker Bow Olympus, a new technical adventure that has shown very promising energy-saving results. With more than 20 years of experience in the marine industry, Jan brings wide technical expertise and leadership to the field. Prior to joining Odfjell, he was an officer in the Norwegian Navy, and later held key positions at DNV and at TTS Offshore Solutions.
Siv Remøy-Vangen is Managing Director in Norwegian Electric Systems (NES). Remøy-Vangen is a highly experienced maritime professional with several years experience as vice president of project management for TTS Offshore Solutions, and as charterer and shipbroker at Odfjell Tankers and RS Platou.
