Are you an innovative actor from across the seafood value chain? Apply now to pitch at a global conference in Bergen and compete for The Seafood Innovation Award 2026.

The Seafood Innovation Award is hosted by the North Atlantic Seafood Forum (NASF), taking place in Bergen 3-5th March, 2026. This event is an important arena for showcasing innovation and ambition in Vestland’s seafood sector. Invest in Vestland encourage companies with scalable and forward-looking solutions to apply and use this opportunity to gain visibility and connect with investors and partners.

The award highlights solutions that strengthen competitiveness while addressing key industry challenges such as environmental impact, resource efficiency, fish welfare, digitalization, and new market opportunities.

Who can apply?

The award is open to a broad range of providers for technology and solutions to the seafood sector.

Both established players and emerging innovators are encouraged to apply, provided their solution demonstrates innovation, sustainability impact, and commercial potential. The jury will evaluate applications based on degree of innovation, sustainability impact, market potential, and scalability.

What you can win  

The winner will receive a 25 000 NOK cash price, 1 year free membership in NCE Seafood Innovation and 2 free passes for NASF 2027.

Further, both finalists and winners of the Seafood Innovation Award 2026 will gain both increased visibility and recognition from industry experts and investors. The film production company Sølvrev will film the companies pitching at the award, and the films will be available free to the winner and the runner ups.

The winner will also be rewarded by a 3-month free membership in 70 Blå Ocean Incubator, assistance with the filing of trademark or patent application(s) in Norway and/or abroad from Acapo Onsagers,  help in networking, graphic design, ideas and marketing strategy from Annderledeslandet og ArtGarden) and the option to make either 3D modelling, VR or the use of the software Spawn in cooperation with NagellD.

Application deadline is 10 th February 2026. Pitching and award ceremony: 3 – 5th March, at the NASF conference in Bergen. Apply here.
